Book Review: ‘Revenge of the Tipping Point’ is fan service for readers of Gladwell’s 2000 book

Malcolm Gladwell revisits the concept of social epidemics in his latest book “Revenge of the Tipping Point: Overstories, Superspreaders, and the rise of Social Engineering.” The Associated Press’ Andrew DeMillo writes that the book is essentially fan service for readers who enjoyed Gladwell’s 2000 book, “The Tipping Point.” DeMillo writes the book is presented in Gladwell’s familiar style, with an engaging but whiplash-inducing tour of examples to back up his ideas on the people and factors behind the little things that make a big difference. The stories range from a look at bank robberies to the opioid epidemic.
