The Artemis II astronauts who flew around the moon earlier this year have received the nation’s highest space honor. President Donald Trump awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor to the three Americans and one Canadian on Friday. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman and other dignitaries took part in the two-hour ceremony in Houston. Last April, commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Canada’s Jeremy Hansen became the first astronauts to travel to the moon in more than half a century. Their lunar flyby set a new distance record for humanity. They join 30 other astronauts who received the prestigious medal.
